DESCRIPTION:100th Anniversary Commemoration of the landing of Zeppelin airship L33 at Little Wigborough on 24th September 1916 and what followed\n.\n24th September\, 2016\, from 2pm to 8pm\n.\n25th September\, 2016\, from 10am to 4pm\nAt National Trust land at Copt Hall\, Little Wigborough CO5 7RD \n100 years ago a quiet village was disturbed in the early hours by an enormous 650ft long zeppelin airship crash-landing only 20 yards from small cottages.  No one died but the German crew of over 20 got out\, set the wreckage on fire and left the scene.  And so the story unfolds\, involving the local villagers\, police and the army….. \nAttractions will include:- \n\nDaily programme of illustrated Talks\nZeppelin archive film and audio show\nStatic displays about Zeppelins and the L33\, with artefacts\, memorabilia\, photographs and documents.\nZeppelin art display\nWW1 aircraft and simulators\nFlypast of WW1 planes from Stow Maries aerodrome (weather permitting)\nWalk the crash site and compare it with the official 1916 photos\nDemonstrations of equipment by the Great War Living Historians\nHeavy horse wagon rides\nModel T Ford car rides\nLive music both days (with  dancers on the Saturday evening)\nActivities for children\, including miniature steam train rides\, Kidz Kartz and Bouncy Castle\nHot & cold food & drink stands\nStalls of many kinds\n\nA one-off event not to be missed! \nTickets for each day:  Adult £10\, Children 7-15 years £5\, Children under 7 years free. \nTickets available online from the National Trust ticketing website:  www.tinyurl.com/zepfest  or telephone 0844 249 1895.
