DESCRIPTION:(click on ‘Find out more’ for the full text) \nProfessional violinist and Peldon resident Dominic Moore is joined by international concert pianist and Colchester-born Andrew Quartermain to celebrate 250 years since the birth of Beethoven and the death of Tartini. \nTartini Devil’s Trill & Didone Abbandonata Violin Sonatas\nDebussy Violin Sonata\nBeethoven Violin Sonata No.10 in G Op.96 \nDominic Moore is co-leader of the West End production of Phantom of the Opera and has recorded many soundtracks for film and TV\, including The Lord of the Rings trilogy\, Dr Who\, Miss Marple\, Downton Abbey\, Call the Midwife and Poldark. He is in demand as a freelance orchestral leader and has led the Ulster Orchestra\, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic and Bournemouth Symphony. Dominic is also Musical Director of St George’s Chamber Orchestra which he co-founded in 2004. \nAs well as being an international concert pianist\, Colchester-born Andrew Quartermain is the Artistic Director of Pro Corda\, Europe’s leading youth music organisation dedicated to chamber music\, based in Leiston\, Suffolk. \nTickets £15 each (£10 for Friends members who book in advance).
