Note. Prof Bill was head of music at Colchester Institute for 30 years; he is a member of the international study group for Liturgy – Universa Laus; He edited the international magazine Church Music for 8 years and on retirement became Church Warden at St Marys. Recently he has become Lay Preacher at St Marys and leads worship 2 or 3 times a month.
He founded the Friends of St Mary’s in 2008 to promote activities in the buildings and to raise funds for the fabric.
