Please see the following update from Bill:
.
Prof Bill is Busy… again! He has been presenting a series of challenging talks and events at St Mary’s:
.
The Church has left the building – what do we mean by ‘church’?
.
Psalms – why bother?
.
Mary Magdalene – was Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code fact or fiction?
Looking forward, there will be Poems and Readings and Songs by ‘Peldon People’ on in: All together now! at 7 30pm’ Saturday August 7th . (Do click on the link for this event for further information).
And a return to the talks, starting with: The Blessed Virgin Mary – Patron of St Mary’s church – what is the enduring fascination with the BVM?
And a further series of events will take us up to Christmas.
The idea is to make sure that the Grade 1 listed building is fully used.
