Did you go to Peldon Village Fete?

A great day was had by all at the Fete, held on the 11th June in Peldon Village Hall and grounds, and in St. Mary’s Church. The weather was kind to us for the 4 hours, and we had a band!

Outdoors was a barbeque, street organ, Caprilaté Ice Cream, plant stall, Long Melford Silver Band, a bar, Village Hall information area, traditional coconut shy, bowling game, animal enclosure, Kids Zone, children’s tombola, bouncy castle, and a mechanical digger.

Inside the hall there was a tea & snack area, homemade cakes for sale, , bottle tombola, craft stalls, book stall and all manner of other stalls filling up the hall.

Inside the church was a fine photograph exhibition and beautiful flower displays.

Thank you to all visitors who came and supported this annual event – it was a lovely atmosphere and so nice to have a large crowd covering all age groups.

We also extend a big ‘Thank You’ to all that helped in any way with this event, whether before, during or after, or indeed all three. Without your commitment and hard work this event would not have been the success that it was – a profit for St. Mary’s Fabric Fund of around £1,750. A fantastic achievement, thank you so much for keeping this tradition alive.
