The Friends hold some events in Peldon Village Hall. And when there is a Friends’ event in the church, the Village Hall kindly allow their car park to be used. A good crowd went round the village on the 21st December, gamely singing carols and raising £200 for the Fabric Fund. This was followed by a reception at Pete Tye Farm afterwards. Many thanks to all singers, to those that donated, and to Jan and Eric Coan for their hospitality.
Colchester Borough Council recently signed-off the North Porch. There had to be a ramp sourced for the emergency door exit, otherwise all was straightforward.
