Purpose
The Friends of St. Mary’s is registered by the Charity Commission as charity no. 1114809. It is a fundraising group that raises funds for vital repairs, restoration work and improvements to St. Marys.
Achievements
Since formation in 2006, the Friends have raised over £50,000 towards the cost of vital repairs, restoration work and improvements to St. Mary’s.
There are church projects in the pipeline which are in need of our fundraising, so that St. Mary’s can continue its dual role of a place of worship and a community venue for use by all.

- the opportunity to meet people from in and around Peldon.
Appointments
The Friends is managed by a committee of no less than 5 persons appointed at the Annual General Meeting or a Special General Meeting. One member is the appointee of the Parochial Church Council of St. Mary’s. The committee may also appoint Honorary Officers and co-opt from the membership.
Our Patron is Michael Wood.
