During 2016-17 the Friends were proud to donate £5,000 towards the re-plastering of many square metres of faulty plaster , and subsequent limewashing. This brings the total donations by the Friends towards repairs, restoration work and improvements to £50,856 since formation in 2006.

The Grand Opening of the new Peldon & Wigboroughs Community Hall was held on the 2nd September, with a superb opening ceremony and a star-studded evening concert. Well done to all involved on the day, and to committees and supporters past and present.

At St. Mary’s Church. Peldon Village Fete – 9th June, starting at 12 Noon. At Lodge Cottage, Lodge Lane, Peldon.
Over the years we have always managed to put on a village fete of some sort in Peldon, incorporating things like Open Gardens, Parachuting Teddies, Owls, Cream Teas and a band, but in recent years we have been thwarted in finding a suitable location for a Dog Show and more attractions.
